Form a professional identity by critically appraising attempts to classify and define educational technology.
Demonstrate an understanding of the field of Ed Tech and its relationship to a student’s own professional goals.
Evaluate a variety of social issues related to the use of educational technologies.
Discuss the positive and negative impacts of technology on education – past, present, and future.
Analyze various discourses that construct relationships between technology and education.
Suggest how and in what ways groups have been included or excluded in educational opportunities offered by changing technologies.
Identify strategies for the diffusion, adoption, and dissemination of innovations in learning communities.
Describe the extent to which new technologies offer ways of understanding and organizing the world.
Review literature, current and seminal, on educational technology research and practice.
Articulate the relationships within the discipline between theory, research, and practice as well as the inter-relationships between people, processes, and devices.
