Prototype for Online Course
Educators apply evidence-based instructional design principles to create innovative and equitable digital learning environments that support learning.
For the Google Sites prototype of the course, I designed an online learning module to replace a traditional face-to-face instruction component for a Workshop Development course. Aligned with ISTE Standard Designer 2.5.c, this artifact emphasized user-centered design by creating a structured, accessible, and interactive digital learning experience. Using authentic content from my role as an adjunct professor at Virginia Wesleyan University, I developed the course framework within Google Sites, ensuring intuitive navigation and clear instructional flow. This prototype demonstrated the effective use of digital tools to support self-paced learning and enhance course accessibility.
